4. Which Service Providers Receive Your Data
MyAndes uses the following categories of third-party service providers who may receive or process your personal information as necessary to operate our business:
- Payment processor: When membership payments are enabled, they will be processed by a third-party payment processor. Payment card data is processed and stored by the payment processor — MyAndes does not store full card numbers. The payment processor's privacy policy will be disclosed at checkout.
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure: Our application is hosted on cloud infrastructure. Server logs may include IP addresses and request metadata.
- Email delivery: Transactional emails (confirmations, reports, invoices) are delivered through a third-party email service.
- Accounting software: Billing records may be synchronized with accounting software for invoicing and tax purposes.
These vendors are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own marketing purposes.
5. When Your Information May Be Shared
MyAndes does not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate our business (see Section 4), under contractual data-protection obligations.
- When required by law, court order, or government authority.
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of MyAndes, our customers, or the public.
Founder Membership Data — Sharing Limitations
MyAndes does not share a customer's Founder membership tier, discount level, or annual savings cap usage with Service Providers unless sharing is necessary for the service workflow and legally appropriate. Internal discount, cost, and margin information is not shared publicly or with Service Providers. When payment processing is activated, payment processor reference data (including transaction identifiers) will be retained for payment verification and dispute resolution purposes and will be governed by the payment processor's privacy policy.
5a. Service Provider Fulfillment Data Sharing
When a customer approves a service and an eligible Service Provider accepts the approved opportunity, MyAndes may share the minimum necessary service details with that Service Provider solely to coordinate and fulfill the approved service. Shared information is limited to what is required for that specific opportunity and may include:
- Customer name and service address
- Contact details needed for on-site access or coordination
- Approved service scope and scheduling window
- Property access instructions submitted with the request
- Photos, notes, and recommendations submitted for the service request
- Safety and access information relevant to the service location
Service Providers may use this information only to evaluate, accept, coordinate, perform, document, or complete the approved MyAndes opportunity. Service Providers may not use customer information for any other purpose, contact customers outside the MyAndes platform, or retain customer information after the service is complete.
MyAndes does not sell customer personal data through this provider workflow.
Referral Partner Sharing
Referral Partner data sharing is a separate workflow and requires separate customer consent before activation. Referral Partner sharing is not currently active.
Portal Status
The Service Provider portal and referral workflows remain gated and inactive. This section describes the intended data-sharing framework for when those features are activated following completion of all required legal, tax, insurance, and owner approvals.
5b. Background Checks and Consumer Reports — FCRA Hold
MyAndes does not currently collect, run, or process background checks, consumer reports, credit reports, or criminal history information on any person — including Service Providers or customers — through any automated or third-party workflow.
No sensitive personal data associated with consumer reports — including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or criminal history — is collected through any MyAndes public form or application flow while the Service Provider portal remains closed.
If and when MyAndes implements a background-check program for eligible Service Providers, MyAndes will comply with all applicable requirements under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Minnesota law before any consumer report is ordered. This includes:
- Providing a standalone written FCRA disclosure to the subject of the report, separate from any other agreement or application
- Obtaining written authorization from the subject before ordering any consumer report
- Following required adverse-action procedures if a consumer report is used in a decision
- Implementing secure disposal procedures for consumer report data
- Complying with Minnesota timing restrictions on the use of criminal record information (Minn. Stat. § 364.021)
Consumer report data, if ever collected, will not be shared with customers or used for any purpose other than the specific eligibility determination for which it was obtained.
5c. Data Minimization, Security, and Retention
MyAndes collects only the personal information reasonably necessary to respond to service requests, coordinate approved services, and operate the platform. We do not collect personal information speculatively or for purposes unrelated to the services described in this policy.
Data minimization: When sharing customer information with an eligible Service Provider to coordinate an approved service, MyAndes shares only the minimum information necessary for that specific opportunity — typically the service address, approved scope, scheduling window, and access instructions. Full account history, billing data, and membership details are not shared with Service Providers.
Security: MyAndes takes reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage, and access controls that limit data access to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
Retention: Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. See Section 6 for specific retention periods. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at info@myandes.com. We will delete information that is not subject to a legal retention requirement.
Privacy request path: To access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to submit a formal privacy request, visit myandes.com/privacy-request or contact us at info@myandes.com.
5d. Service Provider Data-Sharing — Customer Disclosure and Controls
MyAndes coordinates routine property-care services using eligible Service Providers — independent professionals who have been reviewed and approved by MyAndes and have accepted the current MyAndes ISP Business Agreement. This section explains how customer information may be shared with eligible Service Providers, the limits on that sharing, and the controls in place to protect customer privacy.
What may be shared. If MyAndes approves a customer's service request and an eligible Service Provider accepts the approved opportunity, MyAndes may share limited information from the customer's request with that Service Provider only as needed to review, coordinate, or complete the approved routine property-care opportunity. Information that may be shared includes: the customer's name; service location and property address; contact details needed for coordination; service request details; uploaded photos or notes; scheduling and access preferences; and other information the customer provides for the request.
What is not shared. Customer information is not made public and will not be shared with unapproved Service Providers. MyAndes does not sell customer personal information as part of this Service Provider workflow. Opportunity and customer detail access is protected by platform controls and eligibility checks — only Service Providers who have been approved by MyAndes and have accepted the current ISP Business Agreement may access customer request details. Payment information, bank information, background-check information, referral partner data, and membership or payment data are not part of this Service Provider data-sharing workflow.
Platform controls. Access to customer request details and property information is restricted by the MyAndes platform. Unauthenticated users, unapproved Service Providers, Service Providers with pending or declined eligibility, and Service Providers who have not accepted the current ISP Business Agreement cannot access customer PII or opportunity details. These controls are enforced at the platform level and are not dependent on individual Service Provider behavior.
Referral Partners. Referral Partner sharing is a separate workflow and requires separate customer consent. Referral Partner sharing is not active at this time.
Public booking is not active. Submitting a service request does not automatically schedule work or share customer information with any Service Provider. MyAndes reviews every request and confirms next steps with the customer before anything is scheduled.
Customer disclosure at submission. Customers are presented with a clear data-sharing disclosure at the time of service request submission and are asked to acknowledge it before submitting. The disclosure version is recorded with the request. Customers who have questions about how their information is used may contact MyAndes at info@myandes.com.
6. How Long We Retain Your Data
MyAndes retains personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain accurate records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Specific retention guidelines:
- Active membership records: Retained for the duration of the membership and for at least 3 years after cancellation for billing dispute and legal purposes.
- Visit reports and photos: Retained in the customer's account for the duration of the membership and for at least 3 years after cancellation.
- Billing records: Retained for at least 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Service Provider application data: Retained for the duration of the provider relationship and for at least 3 years after termination.
- Service requests (non-members): Retained for up to 2 years after the request is closed.
If you would like your information deleted before the applicable retention period expires, contact us at info@myandes.com. We will delete information that is not subject to a legal retention requirement.
7. Your Rights (Minnesota Residents)
As a Minnesota resident, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@myandes.com or submit a request at myandes.com/privacy-request. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Security and Access Controls
MyAndes takes reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information you submit through our website, including:
- Passwords are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes — MyAndes cannot recover your password in plain text.
- Access to customer data is restricted to authorized MyAndes personnel and approved service providers on a need-to-know basis.
- Payment card data is processed and stored by our payment processor — MyAndes does not store full card numbers on its own servers.
- Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
9. Payment Processor and Hosting Provider Disclosures
Payment Processor: When membership payments are enabled, payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor. When you enter payment card information, that information is transmitted directly to the payment processor and is subject to their privacy policy. MyAndes receives a payment token and billing status but does not store your full card number, CVV, or expiration date on MyAndes servers. The specific payment processor and their privacy policy will be disclosed at checkout before any payment is collected.
Cloud Hosting: The MyAndes application is hosted on cloud infrastructure. Server logs, which may include IP addresses and request metadata, are retained by the hosting provider in accordance with its own data-retention policies.
10. Cookies and Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session, remember preferences, and analyze site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of our website — including login — may not function properly without them.
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to advertising networks.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry for license verification). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active members by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
